CLASS DATES: Tuesdays, March 17 to May 5, 2020, 7-9 pm

If you ever find yourself wanting to bridge the gap between where you find yourself and where you want to be Compassion Cultivation Training© (CCT™) gives you tools for that!

If you wish the world was a kinder, brighter place, CCT prompts imagination and action to that end.

The 8-week CCT program was developed at Stanford University and is finally being offering in Calgary by the only Certified Teacher in Alberta, Daranne Harris.

Compassion Cultivation Training brings together evidence-based techniques of mindfulness and the science of compassion to strengthen the practice of compassion in daily living. The exercises of CCT were developed by experts in contemplative studies, psychology, neuroscience, and adult education to build mental habits that, over time, are demonstrated to open the heart and promote personal well-being, resilience, and meaningful human connections, even in challenging circumstances.

Research has shown that CCT can lead to: increased happiness, more clam, acceptance of emotions as they are, self-acceptance, job satisfaction, self-caring behaviour, compassion for self and others, and openness to receiving compassion from others.
